ABOUT THE AUTHOR

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, he graduated from Stevens Henager Business College in Ogden, Utah with degrees in accounting and business management.  He moved to Seattle, Washington in 1986. The Author has eight children and thirteen grandchildren. Five daughters and three sons, ages 38-20. 

Author’s Comments

Coming from a family of seven children, I have become accustomed to large families.  I started writing the summer of 2000 having just lost my father and a brother, earlier in March of that year.  I still have vivid memories of the day that I sat down in front of my computer, trying to see if I too, like my older brother, could write anything of worth.  Remembering the warm feeling that came over telling me that I also had the same talent. Tears filled my eyes; I thank God each day for being granted the opportunity of sharing this God given talent.  Hoping before I too return home and reunite with my loved ones to take the opportunity to leave something of worth.  .

My goal in writing is to use my talents, leaving meaningful stories of growing up, trying to help my children and grandchildren to better know my parents and grandparents. To share some thoughts and ideas, which will last thru generations to come.  I write in my spare time, while working full time with my sister Marilyn as a real estate agent in a family owned business.
